I'm currently working on an aforementioned project (very aforementioned) and created a kind of proof of concept model. This happens to be a computer terminal from Fallout 1 & 2. Those old cRPG players will recall the ubiquitous and massive computers dotted throughout the post apocalyptic landscape. They were ever the subject of frustration for players without adequate science to hack them.
This will be available in an unpainted 28mm heroic scale and a larger version to be announced eventually. It's only colored here for reference and comparison, though I used very basic textures. I'm also going to link my Shapeways page for those of you interested in buying my 3d models. I'd ask that if you have problems with the printing of the model (errors or broken parts) please contact Shapeways customer service. If you notice a problem with part size or fitting, let me know so I can get it fixed.
I'll let everyone know when this model is finalized and up on Shapeways. Enjoy!
UPDATE!: You can purchase the model on my Shapeways store now! I'll be adding even more items in the future for 28mm scale gaming.
This blog covers making 3d models for rapid prototyping and 3d printing. Topics including how-to guides, best practices, samples of work, and material reviews.

For those of you following our unofficial MWO app, Mercpedia, you can now download the beta on the Play Store. We have some fixes and updates in the pipe already, but keep in mind that it's currently in a beta state.
Though if you do enjoy using it, we're more than happy to accept your donations :).

Merry Christmas 2012!
Merry Christmas everyone! I'm planning on making a short video of the Mercpedia app, so I'll update with a video if/when I get that done today.

Leopard Class Dropship
I decided to make the app's "Home" button a leopard class dropship. Then I got a little carried away. Okay, maybe more than a little. This is based on Alex Iglesias' re-design, though obviously changed up a bit.
I think I'll continue working on it and see how much detail I can put in. It's definitely a candidate for 3d printing.

More Icons
I think I'm getting carpal tunnel from all this art. My wrist hurts like hell. Anyway, enough whining, here is another shotgun blast full of art for the Mercpedia app:

Boom Guns
How about something a little more familiar? Boom guns! Autocannons are a bit hit and miss in Battletech, and they're still undergoing a lot of balancing in Mechwarrior Online. Still, they're fun to draw :)
Livestream Online!
About to enter a livestream (5 minutes). You're welcome to come by and watch here.
I'll be working on stuff for the Mercpedia android app for the most part, but I might deviate a little bit. I also plan on doing this for quite a few hours (probably all day) with a couple of breaks in between.
Come check it out! :)
